Dinner was a yummy and simple boiled potato and melted cheese. Except the cheese is called Mont d'or and comes in a wood box that you put in the oven so in the end you have a box of melted cheese that you scoop over the potatoes. It was quite delicious. We also had, for an hors d'oeuvre, thin strips of raw beef covered in a yummy pesto like sauce and a discussion of why we don't eat raw meat in America.
We made a late night of it and Agathe has to get up early tomorrow. We didn't end up having dessert which was to be mini chocolate cakes with melted chocolate at the center. We decided to have them for breakfast so I will be waking up at 8AM to put them in the oven, having breakfast with Agathe and saying goodbye, and then returning to bed for as long as I want before heading to the train station. Life is hard.
